Graduation
Yay!!! I graduated!!!! It is weird not worrying about upcoming classes.

I am especially proud that I graduated a year early, I worked really hard. I didn't even post and brag about my accomplishments or grades or invitations like some other people, that can be really tacky. Especially when you are just compensating for your lack of a social life........

Graduation was fun, I was the second one to walk for the undergraduates, and I got big hugs from Dr. Oliver and Dr. Shamgochian. My parents took Kyle, Kristen and I to Leo's afterwards for dinner, and then it was off to Kyle's for Mother's Day and Sam's Birthday.

Now I have a couple of days off before I start my new job.......I don't know what to do with myself, I usually have work, school or work and school all at once!

Kyle's baseball team is doing good. They are in the Regionals next weekend, and they are hosting it!

Having wicked car troubles. My brand new car is now in the shop. I hit a pot hole and bent the rim......whoops. My parents went away on vacation and left me my dads truck......I led the flatbed tow truck to the shop I wanted my Cobalt brought to.....the guy checked out the Cobalt.......I went to leave in the truck......WOULDN'T START. The truck would not start...the guy told me it was in worse condition than my car. So now I am two cars down (Don't ask me how I am going to pick them both up)(or even one of them up by myself....haven't gotten that far yet)my grandma picked me up (that is also quite the story) and now I am driving around in her car........

Geez, for not wanting to update, I sure went out on a tangent, huh?

What's Up!?!?!
I feel as though I should update......I know what you are all thinking....ABOUT TIME!

Nothing new is really going on in my life....that is the thing.

I had an awesome August hanging out with all of my friends at Orientation and making a lot of new friends.

The school year started out with a bang....very busy for Dana and I because it was Welcome Week (our adopted baby of sorts)

My mom just got back from San Fransisco (thank god!) She brought me back a really cool gift. It was an oyester in a tuna can, and you had to open it to retrieve your own pearl. It came with a cool necklace you put it into as well. I guess you can get different colored pearls, cause they have all different meanings, but I just got the regular color. Actually, I think it is cream but my dad seems to think that it is white. Therefore I am a mixture of happiness and innosence.......but we all knew that already!

The Activites Fair seemed to be a hit, but we will not know until our meeting on Tuesday and count how many people actually show up. A lot of people seemed genuinely interested though.

I bought myself three movies at blockbuster for $25. It was a pretty good deal. I bought three movies that were individually $13. Hitch, Anchorman and The Notebook....which if you haven't seen it, is the best movie ever!

It is weird commuting, it still kind of feels like summer classes. It sucks working during the year. I only work like 20 hours a week, but it seems like a lot more because it is the less time that I have to do homework.

I am so excited about graduating. I had my first Career Services meeting on Thursday. I am writing my Resume first draft and then I have a second meeting to finalize it. It is so surreal to think that in less than a year I will be 21 and I will have a full time job and a Career.......I still feel like a little kid (probably because I still act like it lol)

I forgot if I already said this, but I really miss my Woo State Crew....I hope they still remember me! It is difficult coming home everyday because unlike my fellow roomates, my parents don't understand how busy I am. They try and make me procrastinate all the time. Go here....Come with us....Do this.....Lets watch TV etc. etc. etc.

Kyle is doing well. He is back at school and Fall Ball has already started. He is throwing well this year. I hardly got to see him this summer. He went to Ohio for the Senior Babe Ruth World Series and then I was living on campus and he was working. I get to see him at least once a week, but it's not enough. I love him so much.

Well that is it for now......I will update in a few months lol

ok, i don't believe in religion or worshipping any higher power..blah..blah...blah... but i am still PRETTY SURE that it is a BAD sign if the pope, does indeed die on your birthday.........just throwing that out there............

my most recent update
I have so much homework to do before tomorrow, so I guess it's about time to update!

Saturday is my birthday, I will be 20. Kyle gave me my present last weekend because he has a game in NYC on my birthday :( Anyways, he got me a promise ring, and I love it. It is very beautiful, and it fits perfectly.

- I made Orientation Leader
- My event, Sex Signals, went really well last night
- I get to see Kyle tomorrow
- Great research projects just opened at Southwick's Zoo with one of my favorite professor's, I hope to get a job there next fall
- My favorite teacher needs a student mentor for his Bio Seminar class next fall and when I told him I was interested, he said I would make a great mentor.
- A really interesting class is being taught for the first time second summer session, wildlife investigative techniques. really useful class.
- tomorrow is my really long boring day
- ummmm i have absolutely no idea what else to say because i am sooo bored.
- april 26 my animal behavior lab is taking a day trip to the bronx zoo and the last day of classes we are going to the aquarium. i havent been to either, so it should be fun. plus they are both free.
- i wish that this whole thing with katelyn would just end, but i dont know how it could. she still doesnt think it was a big deal.
- i have a history test tomorrow

- i hate my psychology class

i am supposed to be rewriting a paper, so of course i just finished coloring christine a picture and i am now singing and updating my journal! I had such a tiring vacation. I worked everyday except saturday. long hours too, like 58 hours.

i miss kyle sooo much. he is in florida right now for spring training, so i hardly get to talk to him cause he is always at practice or a game. and i didnt get to see him during my vacation cause he was in school and i had no transportation (my dad took the truck on a business trip) so yea, this sucks.

katelyn and her "boyfriend" decided to stay here, which sucks. katelyn told us that they would stay at her house. we dont want him here it is uncomfortable. ecspecially cause of all the shit he started.

on a positive note, i got invited to be a member of tri-beta, which is the national biological honor society. i am excited about that. all my hard work has been recognized! that is always a good feeling.

all of my electives this semester are jokes. all the electives i have ever taken here are. ridiculously easy. maybe its just the teachers i pick.

I am afraid that i am getting zugenrue. it is the ancy behavior that an animal develops right before something big (like migration, but in my case summer) is about to happen. its cause i cant wait for my new car and to graduate. i should graduate next may! yesterday my lab was cancelled, that was good. today the class was cancelled. that was ok but then i had to go to office hours a whole hour and a half early or else i would have never gone at all.

i have so many long term projects for school and they all involve feild trips of some sort. it sucks. i have no time for this. i do not want to go to the worcester art museum just to copy a piece of art and paint it on my own. thats stupid. you would think that after every other class in america is fighting plagarism, art would get the hint and not want you to recreate other artists works. you spend all the time painting it, and its not like you can hang it up on your wall, cause its not yours, and then all your friends and relatives will think your a joke because you did a lousier job than the original, inevitably, when you could have just done a good painting on your own and no one would compare it to the "masterpiece"

the weekend is not long enough

we have a budget meeting later today, that should be fun.......budgets are always fun,.... who am i kidding. who wouldnt want to argue over where to put money and then dress up and waste a night justifying why you finally agreed to disagree to a large panel of your peers.?????

kyles videogames came out a week early...you can tell i am getting really bored now.

i guess i will go for now.

Catchin' Up
ok here goes....I have another in the never ending series of doctors appointments tomorrow. it sucks. i will probably have to get my blood taken again even though i just did a week ago. hopefully i will not have to fast this time.

i have planned out the rest of my college career. i will graduate next may, a whole year early. this is my last semester on campus however, because my daddy is buying me a brand new car to move home.

reading my housemates journals, i have discovered that i miss a lot of things that go on. for example i was never invited to any movie and i had no idea that everyone was going to montreal.

my dad got me a very nice necklace for valentines day. he got it from ireland, it is saint brigids cross. i hope it brings me good luck, cause i could use it. macombers are not known for their luck.....which is weird cause we are irish.

hmmm......i do not know what else to write about. my life isnt that interesting.......oh, my parents finally picked paint colors for our new house. and by "pick" i mean they fought over colors until they hired an interior designer. lol. the interior designer picked all new colors and told them why the ones they picked out were all wrong...........hmmmm, im not sure but i think she said some of the exact reasons that i told my parents.

oh another thing about our new house. it seems that we arent allowed to park on the streets. of course, we realized we were the only ones doing it, cause it is quite obvious, but the development still decided to send out a flyer to everyone in the community telling them not to park on the street. of course i am sure we ae the only publically disfunctional family as well. when my sister parked on the street today i reminded her and got a big loud "fuck you" in our nice little quiet neighborhood.

i dont know what it is with organic chem, but i am doing good. pat isnt in my class anymore, which sucks cause we worked on quizzes together. we have had two quizzes so far and i forgot about each one. good thing it is open notes. well, regardless i have done excellent on both. maybe this semester will not be that hard afterall. i still cannot wait till it ends so i can get a new car. lol.

oh, by the way, i am also going to write a book. i have no idea what it is going to be about, but i want to write one. hey, if erika can, i can.

Hey, I haven't updated in a while, and i dont really have that much to say. I am so tired lately, it is hard to excersise when i am this tired. I just can't be motivated. this happens to me alot, hopefully my upcoming doctors appointment will sort it out for me.

Kyle is coming to visit me tomorrow night. I am sooooooo glad, i miss him so much. No one can ever understand how much i miss him. He is the other half of me. I feel half empty without him. I cannot wait until college is over and I can spend the rest of my life with him. I am so proud of him. He is so motivated and he splits his time between class and practice.

i am so nervous about wednesday. I have two sec events to put on and absolutely no time to do them. I have the activities fair during the day when i have classes, and i have the casino/gameshow at night. I am so worried about the casino night. I don't think i am going to have enough dealers and we can't give out any prizes. There is no incentive to come. Hopefully people will just come for a good time.

I moved back in monday. Thats ok. i mean it would be good, but along with moving back in comes homework.lol. our toilet was broken most of the first week. That wasnt that fun, cause we all had to use the ghetto bathroom lol.

this sucks
So i have been studying organic chemistry for like 4 days. it sucks. every waking hour is dedicated to organic chem and i am still not 100% confident. this sucks. what sucks even more is that some of my friends, including my poker sensay (sp?), are having a poker tourney right now and i really want to play..........thanks guys! jk. i havent played in so long. i cannot study anymore. i really cant. at this point if i fail, i fail. and i am fine with that so long as i dont have to study for this test again.......maybe i will go check out the poker....but i probably will start feeling guilty when i get down to the second floor and i will probably never make it to new hall...........wish me luck..........

Wow, i really have not updated for real in such a long time. the only reason why i am going to right now is because i should be studying. I have been sick since last week with god only knows what. i have had so many symptoms that i have confused my own mother, who is a nurse. i still kinda feel like shit but i am back to school for the week!

my dad gets pats tickets whenever he wants them from a company that he works with through his company. well, they did not have access to any tickets to last sundays game, so they went out and bought him some for the whole family. we were all excited cause we figured that the red sox would come out with the trophy just like the pats did with theirs at the red sox first home game. well, i couldnt go cause i was sick, and then no one else ended up going either cause it wouldnt have been the same and it would have been cold. I felt really bad until ONLY 2 RED SOX SHOWED UP. that would have been the worst night ever if we sat through the freezing cold for hours just to see damon and schilling.

i feel like i ruined kyles weekend. i really love him and he was able to be home all weekend, but i was sick. and i made him sleep in the living room, cause that is where i was set up and didnt(couldnt) move from. i told him he could sleep in my room, but he didnt want to.i just feel bad in general that we did absolutely nothing exciting this weekend cause i was sick.

thank you to all the people who told me to get better, even if i didnt respond, i still got the message.

i am bummed that it is back to normal school life tomorrow, i am still not ready, i mean i feel better, but i like just sittin on my ass in the living room and being baby-ed.

What's the Deal?
I am really getting sick of people doing absolute shit around here and complaining about it. Why should everyone have to clean up the house except for certain people. It's not fair at all. For instance Erika had to take out the trash this week, which wasn't her job, she already had to clean the sinks and mirror. Homework is a shitty excuse, it takes 10-20 minutes to clean up once a week. You think we don't have any homework? It's really getting old. It is also a slap in the face when we all have to clean and this certain person can just hang out and blast bad music, especially during quiet hours. We realize you aren't down here hanging out with us enough to care that it is messy, but you do also live here and use the same dirty bathrooms, bathrooms that everyone should have to clean. If you have problems with the people here, as your livejournal suggests, maybe you should come to meetings more often and voice your opinion, thats what its for. It's also a little uncomfortable that your boyfriend has a key and comes in when your not here. These aren't just my feelings, they are felt throughout the house.

I guess i will have another random rant, cause i dont know what else to say:
- I am staying home tonight so that i can go see my new house tomorrow. I am wicked excited cause i will call the best room first....it always happens...Katie hasn't out-called me once in her life...i am quick on the uptake.....some say "the best"
-What's up with the big fuss over Katelyn. She is sick, end of story. I mean I hope she get's better, thats not what I am talking about. I am talking about all the people from CODY LAND who take offense at every little thing you say....even when you don't mean it in a bad way. Why the fuck do they care what i do...no one will ever know(** cue twilight zone music **)....but Katelyn, they are getting on everyones nerves (Hell, someone had to say it, we were all thinking it) What's up with Cody yelling at Becca?
